What is Cowchtalk Up To?
Oh, the roads we've traveled down to get where we want to go!
It all started with the need to help people…to find better products, better ways, just better and make money to help support our families in the mix.
We ran into the concept of 7 streams of income. We believe wholeheartedly it's an awesome format! We started building our streams. In the process we found that not all streams are what they're cracked up to be and learned to adjust. Flexibility is a must!
We carved out time to take some courses and became certified life coaches. Our thought “What a wonderful way to help people find direction, learn to set goals, and achieve them.” As Master Life Coaches we're trained in life purpose, happiness, goal setting and professional life coaching. We started going in that direction, setting things up to offer our coaching sessions at an affordable price. We even changed our logo. Then we started thinking, this is not something for everyone. We want to offer something that would benefit the most.
We created our logo, the adorable highland cow. Her name is Tallulah M. Highland.
Along the way we discovered the MLM format. While great for some, it wasn't for us. We chose the cousin of MLM, Affiliate Marketing. This is more to our liking. We get to choose what we would like to promote. We're not tied to any one company. We became affiliate marketers.
We began with a Facebook page and added Instagram. We'd love it if you'd click on the hyperlinks to our pages and like/follow us!
We added selling on eBay to our streams. A little time consuming at first but very doable if you pen in time to photograph and list your items. This was a great way to clean out the house of anything no longer serving a purpose.
We wrote and published two books and a companion workbook. You can find them for purchase on Amazon under our pen name Tallulah M. Highland or click the links on the “books” tab.
We started a YouTube channel; our goal is to monetize the channel. In order to do this, we must have a set number of subscribers and views. We ask everyone reading this to please consider supporting us by subscribing and watching our videos. It helps us greatly and costs you absolutely nothing but a few minutes of your time.
And lastly, our website for our blogs. This is where we'll share life experience type things that can help you navigate this crazy world. We'll hit on a variety of topics from repurposing household items to planning a dinner menu for the week, from creating a budget to saving for that vacation or just affording life, from feeding the family on the inexpensive to recipes everyone enjoys. Looking to start your own 7 streams? Our advice, when building your streams establish one at a time. Have patience and build time into your schedule to maintain your streams. If something isn't working for you, don't be afraid to drop it and go in another direction. Rome wasn't built in a day. Give yourself grace.
